What are your career goals?

Happy Thursday! :)

We are almost there, weekend is 2 days away! Can’t believe we are a day away from September, time flies but I couldn’t be more excited since I have some exciting content coming up and also a favour to ask.

Let’s get into it.

✨ Creator Journey

Lots of learning since I spoke to you last week. I am realizing that this newsletter is becoming a journal and I’m not complaining. I have learned the importance of copy writing and how to create a good landing page. I'll share my learnings after the release of my new course.

FREE course 🎁

Speaking of landing pages, I just created one since I’m creating a FREE course on How to grow as a developer so if you are interested in learning more, check it out here: https://www.growthfordevs.io This landing page is still a work in progress and I plan to release it next week but any feedback is welcome.

Why did I create this course for free?

I am offering this course for free as I want to enable others and help them level up. I am passionate about growing developers and 90% of developers that reported into me or know of struggled with this.

I’m using ConvertKit to release it so it will be a FREE email course.

📣 Call to Action

I want to make sure this course on How to grow as a developer is useful for you, that it teaches the stuff you’re most interested in learning. So, here’s my question: what are you most hoping to learn from my How to grow as a developer course?

The more specific you can be, the better. What are your career goals? If you’ve tried to grow in your career and growing a goal of yours, what did you find discouraging or tricky? Are there particular problems you’ve had, things you’ve found frustrating? Are there any specific goals you’re hoping my course will help you achieve?

Please reply directly to this email and let me know! Responses come straight to my personal inbox.

🚀 Personal Leadership Philosophy

Your decision making as a leader can make or break your team(s). Having a solid philosophy is important as you can always reflect and ask yourself if it aligns with your values.

I’m a people first leader and this means I believe in trust and transparency. I don’t think I can do it alone nor have all the answers but I will rally my team to come to a common goal. The benefit to this is that it drives loyalty and retention as an outcome. The 3 values that I deeply care about are: Empathy, Care and Serving others.

I would love to know what your leadership philosophies are that you live by? Please reply directly to this email and let me know. I’ll publish some of these in next weeks newsletter.

That’s all from me, I’ll talk you next week!
